The Barron Companies, Inc. and it’s sister companies Barron Construction and Barron-Stark Engineers was awarded the 2009 Best Design-Build project over $30,000,000 by the State of Texas Association of General Contractors for the Inspiring Body of Christ Church in Dallas, Texas. IBOC, as it’s known by the local congregation is led by Dr. Rickie Rush and it was his vision that inspired the aquatic themed church that boasts a 90,000 salt water aquarium in the main lobby designed by famed Aquarium designers ATM of Las Vegas. The 150,000 square foot facility has seating for over 10,000, a themed restaurant and children’s facility along with three of the largest projection screens in North Texas. The $40,000,000 facility was completed in two years from design to final commissioning.
